Microsoft and QTS to develop over 1 million sq ft of data centers in Irving

- The Irving City Council has approved 10-year, 50% property tax abatements for Microsoft and QTS Realty Trust LLC. Microsoft plans to develop four data centers, with the first two to be leased by the end of next year and the remaining by the end of 2026, aiming to increase property value by at least $200 million by 2027. QTS plans three data centers adjacent to its existing campus, occupying at least half of the planned 1 million sq ft by the end of 2028, with a $350 million investment by January 2029.
